Walnut Stuffed Plum Leather (Pestil)

Ingredients
6 plum
100 gr walnut
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon cornflour

Method
Wash and cut plums in halves.
Pit them before cooking on medium heat until soft. This takes around 15 min.
Let them cool.
Peel them and then blend or ideally strain through a fine-mesh sieve.
Add cornflour and honey. Stir well.
Pour the puree on a baking paper layered flat tray in 4mm (1/6″) depth.
Dehydrate (not bake) in the oven at 80C (175F) for 6-8 hours or leave outside 4-5 days until not sticky.
Cut into stripes.
Stuff them with walnuts and roll.
Store them in an airtight container.
For longer storage time keep them in the fridge.
